Safaricom Brings down their ‘Innovation’ fraud site

Just 24 Hours After I criticized the Safaricom ‘s Fuck-Kenyan-Developers attitude and big headedness, they  have brought down their Innovations fraud site.

This was meant to be a trap to take ALL ideas in Kenya, own them, sue any coder who implements such an idea after contacting them and OWN all ideas in Kenya.

Thanks to Google Cache, you can still access that Sad site HERE and read how Kenyan developers were to lose out financially and intellectually, had the site stayed up.

A myriad of Safaricom IP addresses have been hitting my blog and also, alot of script-kiddie hack attempts hitting my hardened firewall.

    wow! Bwana Idd, it seems you're missing the point here! Your whole post is thanks to JM's pointer. There's nothing political when one Kenyan asks another to hi 5 a brother as a sign of good faith. We are soldiers in the same army. I loathe safaricom as much as you do. Stop pointing the gun at me.

    Just being curious, how did Safaricom manage to host jsp and php files on the same server. Huh!! Blame it on my lack of knowledge.

    Err.. JSP is just an extension. a simple AddType directive in Apache conf can enable you to even have .sex, .hak, .mob or .cc file extensions. dont be fooled.

    Just to educate you further:
    1. Open the apache httpd.conf file

    2. Add the line “AddType application/x-httpd-php .bot” without the quotes. What it does is instruct the server that .bot extension is a php file and that it should be treated as a normal php file

    3. Rename your php file with extension bot

    4. Open in web browser and see the magic!
