Thanks Idd, I don’t know how I missed reading this post but what you say is true. Not only did our shortlisted entry move onto the next stage, but we were not told what were the criterion used for that decision. With a prototype, compared to those entry’s which were solely pie in the sky PLANS & NO ACTION, Kenya’s ICT sector is promoting mediocrity.

You started well. Really well. For a moment there, you fooled me that you were clever.

Until you started boasting about your boyfriend and his 3M. I am happy all his swine and poultry died. You argue like a typical Kenyan who is ‘just happy that there is peace and we should let everyone steal’.

The epitome of idiocy is the premise that PivotEast is the same as Tandaa. Not even worth of a response. Total ignorance. But I am sure you are blissful.

Go find out about Pivot East first, then maybe, We can discuss this like intellectuals. Look that word up.

I entered an entry in Tandaa, but was not successful, that was a loose Kshs 4 Million I lost out on, will try next year. Tandaa is a competition, if you wow them with an idea, they don’t care whether you will make it sustainable or not. A friend (name and idea withheld) won a clean 3 mill with the most ridiculous project ever. It died 4 months later.
The ICT board has loads of cash budgeted every year, they have to spend on competitions like Tandaa or pointless conferences like ConnectedKe.
Enough of Tandaa, what about Pivot East? Isn’t it the same as Tandaa? Oh my bad, Pivot East is partly sponsored by iHub, of which your are a red member … hmm
