A mingle with the Kenya’s Finest

I am going to talk about 2 people today. Like I always do, whenever I meet someone whose work or story impresses me, I write about them.

I don’t write useless stuff like who screws who etc just for traffic. Here we do real life stories with positive impact.

Kennet B

“Success ya kukatiana, huanza na vitu simple tu, kaa ku-smile-iana”.

I am considering converting to Kennet B-inity after I bought a poem CD at the artist event organized by @theBogof. The literary profundity and ability to address issues poetically with utmost alacrity awed me and I will not CD-change that CD, for a long time. Ofcourse, Kennet B will be launching his new CD on Wednesday, September 12th, at the Hilton. I will be there.

I never buy any digital content in Kenya. Most ni crap na kwa my collection, top 10 haziwezi ku-penya. But this particular work of art was strong, utadhani Semenya. The maturity of the content was sweet to listen to, felt like ni dame anani-mumunya.

It was worth every coin I spent. Plus a bag of chips.

The BoGof

But, first, let me tell you a story. I am not sure whether to start with the good old days in Isiolo when kulikuwa ku-ngori, ama I just focus on the recent past and present where I am just simple, nice and boring. Sijui nikupe details za my last life at the risk of filling you with worry, ama I just chill that vibe and take you like a gal, slowly. Ama acha ikae tu mysterious kama a dark pori, na kama nilikuwa nime-raise hopes zako, then eazza manze, i’m sorry.

Mambo byaardest baba!

My first Bogof was Hot. And I will not miss another one.

From people I respect like Abu Sense, Nuru Bahati and Co, to hot mammas I cannot mention here nisiambiwe niliwa-configure, mpaka some 3 faggots. Every corner of the society was represented. #theBogof was Fun kuruka.

Of Ramma

Then I met Bwana Ramzzy. I silently stood by him as he turned over a clean sheet of per, drew what seemed like random lines at first, but slowly started to take shape. In 45 Minutes, he had drawn a complete picture of a real person, then a landscape, an erotic female, a cartoon character that I would not be ashamed to put into @angrykenyans.

Impressive stuff I tell you. Check it out:

Yep! he drew these as I watched. Genius.

Ofcourse, after TwiPic-ing his work from my S2, people started asking for his contacts online.

The rest is history.
